Aria wrote this about her first five weeks in Room 2 in 2012:

I have been in Room 2 for 5 weeks. My favourite things are Mrs Vincent and writing in my writing book at writing time. I love to learn anything. I do what the teacher says the first time. I love reading my books and my work. Our teachers are Mrs Vincent and Mrs MacKey. We have 5 tadpoles and 6 caterpillars. We did a poster for art. We had to put things we liked on it. We have a board that has all of our names on it. We use pegs on it. I am after Angus. We are allowed to go on cool maths games.com.

Grandparents are very special people. This week 2 children in Room 2 wrote special stories about their special Grandparents.

Assembly

We hosted the whole school assembly on Friday. Everyone did really well and Mrs Vincent was sooooooooooo proud of her class. Mrs Vincent is still learning how to use her new camera. On Friday she try to add photos to the blog and lost them all!!!!!!!! Anyhow we are all learners together!!

A Day of Celebration

Today we celebrated some exciting events in Room 2. Three students passed their basic facts tests!!!!
Sam recieved a certificate in assembly for a wonderful start to the year. Pero recieved his student council badge at assembly. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Arts in Room 2

We are learning about different ways of drawing in visual arts this term. Last week we painted our homes and today we used sketching pencils to sketch our homes.

This week we are beginning using the computers in our classroom. We will have turns using this website. It has great games to help us with our reading, writing and maths.
