We enjoyed painting pictures of Lake Tekapo and our adventures there.

PReP

This term we are learning all about the market place for PReP. We are learning about needs and wants and lots of terms to do with the economic world. We had a trade fair to show the students our worm farms that we will sell for 10 taitai at the market day. Here are some photos.

The Student Learning Conferences

We have another busy week with the Student Learning Conferences on Friday afternoon. They will be different for Room 2 this time while we trial a new system that is being used in other schools throughout New Zealand. There will be 2 or 3 family groups in the classroom at the same time working around a series of stations including some time with Mrs Vincent. This should be a great way to have more time to learn more about the learning in our classroom. We will still set a goal for your child to work towards for the rest of the year.

The Ned Show

Last week we enjoyed the NED show. We saw some great yo-yo tricks and learned some very important messages.

Yesterday we all walked down to C-Bay. I went on the playground and the lazy river. I don't call it the lazy river I call it the crazy river. When we got there we had to wait on the steps and then we got changes into  togs and hopped into the pool. First we went in the crazy lazy river
 then the playground. When I go there with Mum and Dad and Bella and Konnor I will help Bella go down the slide. I will show my family around and it will be cool.
