Our Class News
We have been having circle time. The person who is speaking has the stick. The stick is special to our class because it helps people. It helped Mrs Vincent on her three day walk.The person with the stick gets to talk about what we are talking about. Today we talked about problems in the playground.
We are going onto a marae. Kathy is leading us onto the marae. Some parents are going to come with us. When we get there Kathy will stand in front of the girls then the boys then the teachers and then we will slowly walk into the marae.
We have Kiwi-Can every Tuesday. Kiwi-Can has energizers and we are learning about relationships.
We have PE or sports on Tuesday afternoons where we learn about games and play them. Today we will have T-ball with Mrs Jones.
We are leading the Wai-Learner assembly on the last day of the term. We are practising singing for this assembly. We are allowed to dress up for the assembly in a country from around the worlds clothes.
We had the Student Learning Conferences last Friday. The parents came to school to talk about our goals for the next 6 months until the next SLC.
Next week we are having a BOOK WEEK and we will learn all about Gavin Bishop and his books. On the Friday we are allowed to dress up as a book character.
